\n(a) The appointed members of the North Carolina delegation to the Commission shall receive per diem, subsistence, and travel expenses as follows:\n(1) Commission members who are members of the General Assembly at the rate established in G.S. 120-3.1.\n(2) Commission members who are officials or employees of the State or of local government agencies at the rate established in G.S. 138-6.\n(3) All other Commission members at the rate established in G.S. 138-5.\n(b) The members of the Virginia delegation to the Commission shall receive compensation as provided by the Commonwealth of Virginia.\n(c) All expenses shall be paid from funds appropriated or otherwise available to the Commission.
