Effective: October 1, 1953 Latest Legislation: House Bill 1 - 100th General Assembly Sections 9.10 to 9.14, inclusive, of the Revised Code do not release the liability of any public official, employee, or other person for loss of funds occasioned by any authorized use of a duly adopted facsimile signature. Any public official, board, commission, bureau, or public body mentioned in section 9.11 of the Revised Code may protect itself and its agents and employees from loss, damage, or expense occasioned by the unauthorized use of such facsimile signature by purchasing at public expense a surety bond in such amount as is approved by its legal adviser.
