Effective: January 25, 2002 Latest Legislation: House Bill 143 - 124th General Assembly (A) 'Firefighting agency' means a municipal corporation, township, township fire district, joint fire district, fire and ambulance district, or other political subdivision that operates a fire department.(B) Nothing in the Revised Code requires, or shall be construed to require, that the fire chief of a firefighting agency reside in the territory of the firefighting agency.
