Effective: March 9, 1999 Latest Legislation: House Bill 649 - 122nd General Assembly The clerk of the senate, the chief administrative officer of the house of representatives, and the sergeant at arms of each house shall have control of their respective assistants, and each house by resolution may dismiss any of them whose services are not needed or who do not perform their duties satisfactorily.
