Effective: January 9, 1961 Latest Legislation: House Bill 1 - 104th General Assembly In the discharge of any duties imposed by law, any member of the Ohio legislative service commission shall have the authority throughout the state to administer oaths, issue subpoenas compelling the attendance of witnesses and the production of any papers, books, accounts, and testimony; and to cause the deposition of witnesses either residing in or without the state. In case of disobedience on the part of any person to comply with a subpoena issued on behalf of the commission, or on the refusal of any witness to testify to any matters regarding which he may be lawfully interrogated, it shall be the duty of the county prosecutor in any county, on application of the commission, to bring a proceeding for contempt.
