Effective: September 29, 1997 Latest Legislation: House Bill 215 - 122nd General Assembly The general assembly shall make an appropriation, in the operating budget for the fiscal year in which a new governor is elected, to the office of budget and management from the general revenue fund for the purchase of supplies, the payment of salaries for the governor-elect's immediate staff, rental or other charges for office space, the rental or purchase of equipment and furniture, printing and distribution of the inaugural address as required by section 149.04 of the Revised Code, and other reasonable expenses of the governor-elect during the period of transition.
