Effective: October 4, 1996 Latest Legislation: House Bill 495 - 121st General Assembly Any document filed with the secretary of state that, by statute or by rule or determination of the secretary of state, is required to include a signature of a person may contain, in lieu of the person's original signature, a copy of the person's original signature transmitted by facsimile machine to the secretary of state, or be a photocopy or similar reproduction of the person's original signature.
