Effective: October 3, 2023 Latest Legislation: House Bill 33 - 135th General Assembly (A) As used in this section, 'valid warrant' means a warrant that is not stopped, stale dated for age, voided, canceled, altered, or fictitious. (B) The treasurer of state, on presentation, shall pay all valid warrants drawn on the state treasury by the director of budget and management. On a daily basis, the treasurer of state shall provide to the director electronic records of all warrants the treasurer of state has paid, adjusted, or returned.
