Effective: September 29, 2013 Latest Legislation: House Bill 59 - 130th General Assembly A deputy inspector general appointed under section 121.48 of the Revised Code, who has been awarded a certificate by the executive director of the Ohio peace officer training commission attesting to the person's satisfactory completion of an approved state, county, or municipal peace officer basic training program, shall, during the term of the deputy inspector general's appointment, be considered a peace officer for the purpose of maintaining a current and valid basic training certificate pursuant to rules adopted under section 109.74 of the Revised Code.
