Effective: December 4, 1973 Latest Legislation: Senate Bill 174 - 110th General Assembly No applicant for appointment or promotion in the classified service shall, directly or indirectly, pay or promise to pay any money or other valuable thing, nor shall he ask or receive any recommendation or assistance from any person, upon the consideration of any political service to be rendered, for or on account of his appointment or promotion, or proposed appointment or promotion.
