Effective: September 29, 2017 Latest Legislation: House Bill 49 - 132nd General Assembly (A) As used in this section:(1) 'Advertising' includes advertising in print or electronic newspapers, journals, or magazines and advertising broadcast over radio or television or placed on the internet.(2) 'State official' means an official elected to a statewide office or a member of the general assembly.(B) Any advertising purchased with public money by a state official for the same purpose that, in the aggregate, exceeds fifty thousand dollars during the fiscal year, shall be subject to controlling board approval.
