Effective: October 1, 1953 Latest Legislation: House Bill 1 - 100th General Assembly The books, records, documents, accounts, vouchers, and the business of the board of commissioners of the sinking fund, and everything belonging or appertaining thereto, shall at all times be subject to examination by any committee or commission appointed by the general assembly, or by either branch thereof, or by the governor, or treasurer of state, in person, or any person appointed by them, or either of them. When any person, other than a member of the board, is appointed by the governor to examine the state treasury, such person and the treasurer of state shall make a careful and thorough examination of the business and proceedings of the board, and of all their books, records, documents, vouchers, and everything belonging or appertaining thereto, and make a report thereof to the governor, who shall communicate the same to the general assembly.
