Effective: October 1, 1953 Latest Legislation: House Bill 1 - 100th General Assembly All moneys collected from taxes or other sources for the payment of final judgments against a political subdivision, other than condemnation of property cases, shall go into a separate fund of the subdivision, to be known as the 'judgment fund.' The treasurer of the subdivision shall receive all taxes, assessments, and moneys collected for the payment of final judgments against the subdivision or proceeds of bonds issued for such purpose and invest and disburse them in the manner provided by law. Such treasurer shall have charge of and provide for the payment of all such judgments.
