§ 135.02

Effective: October 3, 2023 Latest Legislation: House Bill 33 - 135th General Assembly There shall be a state board of deposit consisting of the treasurer of state or an employee of the treasurer of state's department designated by the treasurer of state, the auditor of state or an employee of the auditor of state's department designated by the auditor of state, and the attorney general or an employee of the attorney general's department designated by the attorney general. The board shall meet on the call of the chairperson at least annually to perform the duties prescribed in sections 135.01 to 135.21 of the Revised Code. At any time, two members of the board may request that the chairperson call a meeting of the board, and the chairperson shall call the meeting within thirty days after receiving such requests. The treasurer of state or the treasurer of state's designated representative shall be chairperson of the board. The treasurer of state shall designate an employee of the treasurer of state's department to serve as the secretary of the board and keep its records. A certified copy of such records shall be prima-facie evidence of the matter appearing therein in any court of

The chairperson shall provide notification to the board of deposit that the reports required under division (B) of section 135.143 of the Revised Code have been posted to a web site maintained by the treasurer of state. The necessary expenses of the board shall be paid from the state treasury from appropriations for that purpose upon the order of the board certified by the chairperson and the secretary.
