Effective: September 15, 2004 Latest Legislation: Senate Bill 133 - 125th General Assembly If a person elected to serve on the public employees retirement board is unable to assume office at the January meeting of the board following the person's election, a special election shall be held in accordance with the provisions of section 145.05 of the Revised Code within three months of the January meeting. On certification of the elections results, the newly elected person shall assume office at the meeting of the board immediately following the special election.
