Effective: April 6, 2017 Latest Legislation: Senate Bill 332 - 131st General Assembly ( A) The Ohio housing finance agency shall include reducing infant mortality as a priority housing need in the agency's annual plan under section 175.04 of the Revised Code. (B) The Ohio housing finance agency may establish a housing assistance pilot program to expand housing opportunities for extremely low-income households that include pregnant women or new mothers. The housing assistance pilot program shall include rental assistance. If the Ohio housing finance agency establishes such a program under this division, it shall do all of the following: (1) Establish the program not later than December 31, 2017, and not end the program before December 31, 2020; (2) Through a competitive bidding process, select local community entities that are involved with issues concerning housing and infant mortality reduction efforts to participate in the program; (3) Evaluate the outcome of the program and include the findings in the annual report prepared pursuant to division (G) of section 175.04 of the Revised Code.
