Effective: January 4, 2006 Latest Legislation: Senate Bill 236 - 126th General Assembly The third frontier commission may award support to individuals, public and private entities, agencies, and institutions, private companies or organizations, partnerships, business trusts, or other business entities or ventures, research organizations, whether for profit or not for profit, or combinations or consortiums of any of the foregoing for the purpose of supporting research and development projects. The support may be in such manner as the commission determines, including by any one or a combination of grants, loans, including loans to lenders or the purchase of loans, subsidies, contributions, advances, or guarantees, or by payment or reimbursement from available money, or by providing staffing or other support including computer or other technology capacity, or equipment or facilities, including interests in real property.
