Effective: September 14, 2000 Latest Legislation: House Bill 488 - 123rd General Assembly Sections 1306.01 to 1306.15 of the Revised Code may be known and cited as the 'uniform electronic transactions act' and shall be construed and applied as follows:(A) To facilitate electronic transactions consistent with other applicable law;(B) To be consistent with reasonable practices concerning electronic transactions and with the continued expansion of those practices;(C) To effectuate its general purpose to make uniform the law with respect to the subject of sections 1306.01 to 1306.15 of the Revised Code among states enacting the uniform electronic transactions act.
