Effective: October 16, 2009 Latest Legislation: House Bill 1 - 128th General Assembly No registrant or licensee shall fail to follow the practices set forth in the federal 'Fair Debt Collection Practices Act,' 91 Stat. 874, 15 U.S.C. 1692, as amended, notwithstanding the fact that the registrant or licensee is seeking to collect upon the registrant's own debt.
