Effective: October 1, 1953 Latest Legislation: House Bill 1 - 100th General Assembly Whoever sells or issues to a person engaged in a trade, business, or profession, a stamp, trading stamp, cash discount stamp, check, ticket, coupon, or other device which entitles the holder thereof, on presentation thereof either singly or in definite number, to receive from the vendor or other person, money, goods, wares, or merchandise, shall redeem them upon presentation, either in goods, wares, merchandise, or money, at the option of such holder, at the value in money printed on the face thereof, provided they are presented for redemption in number aggregating in money value not less than five cents in each lot.
