Effective: October 1, 1953 Latest Legislation: House Bill 1 - 100th General Assembly Upon notice being given as provided in section 1341.16 of the Revised Code, the board of township trustees shall hear the application, and if it finds that such officer on demand by a person entitled thereto, his agent, or attorney, neglects or refuses to pay over all money received by him in his official capacity for the use of such person, or if, in its opinion, there is other good reason therefor, shall require such officer to give a new bond, conditioned according to law and to the satisfaction of the board, within such time as it directs. If the officer fails to execute such bond, the office shall be vacant and shall be immediately filled as other vacancies.
