Effective: April 6, 2007 Latest Legislation: House Bill 443 - 126th General Assembly The chief of the division of mineral resources management annually shall conduct a safety performance evaluation of all surface mining operations in the state in accordance with rules. The operator of a surface mining operation shall provide to the chief a copy of the notification of legal identity required under 30 C.F.R. part 41, as amended, at the same time that the notice is filed with the mine safety and health administration in the United States department of labor.
