Effective: February 24, 1983 Latest Legislation: House Bill 100 - 115th General Assembly The director of development shall adopt, consistent with the 'Energy Policy and Conservation Act of 1975,' 89 Stat. 871, 42 U.S.C.A. 6291, as amended:(A) Mandatory lighting efficiency rules for all existing public buildings above a minimum size established by the director which are owned, leased, or controlled by the state, except by state colleges and universities;(B) Lighting efficiency recommendations for all other existing public buildings larger than the minimum size established by the director, including those which are owned, leased, or controlled by state colleges and universities.For the purposes of this section, 'public building' means any building that is open to the public during normal business hours.
