Effective: September 29, 1997 Latest Legislation: House Bill 215 - 122nd General Assembly When the application of a foreign corporation for a license to transact business in this state has been accepted for filing and the filing fee has been paid, the secretary of state shall issue to the corporation a license certificate authorizing it to transact business in this state, subject to expiration or cancellation of the license as provided by law.
