Effective: March 31, 2021 Latest Legislation: House Bill 24 - 133rd General Assembly An officer, agent, or member of a county humane society may interfere to prevent the perpetration of any act of cruelty to animals in the officer's, agent's, or member's presence, may use such force as is necessary to prevent it, and to that end may summon to the officer's, agent's, or member's aid any bystanders.
