Effective: August 5, 1998 Latest Legislation: House Bill 600 - 122nd General Assembly (A) Each member entitled to vote shall have one vote, except that the articles or bylaws of the association may permit the following:(1) Voting by members in accordance with the amount of business done with or through the association.(2) Voting by delegates, including a voting system that provides any one or a combination of the following:(a) That a delegate may cast only one vote;(b) That a delegate may cast one vote for each member represented by the delegate;(c) That another form of delegate voting may be used.(3) Voting by delegates or certain members on matters that are to be submitted to a member vote.(4) Voting by any combination of the methods set forth in division (A)(1), (2), or (3) of this section or any other method of voting set forth in the bylaws, provided the association is controlled by the members.(B) If the articles or bylaws provide that only delegates or certain members are entitled to vote on matters to be submitted to a member vote, 'member' or 'members,' as used in this chapter with respect to the right of a member to vote, voting procedure, the required proportion of
