Effective: August 6, 2008 Latest Legislation: House Bill 332 - 127th General Assembly (A) Service of legal process upon any partnership that has not filed a statement of partnership authority in this state and that is formed under the laws of this state or doing business in this state may be made by delivering a copy personally to any partner doing business in this state or by leaving it at a partner's dwelling house or usual place of abode in this state or at a place of business of the partnership in this state. (B) Nothing in this section limits or affects the right to serve process in any other manner now or hereafter provided by law. This section is an extension of, and not a limitation upon, the right otherwise existing of service of legal process.
