Effective: January 13, 2012 Latest Legislation: Senate Bill 124 - 129th General Assembly There shall be one additional probate judge for the probate court of Cuyahoga County. The additional judge shall be elected at the general election to be held in 1954 and every six years thereafter, for a term of six years commencing on the first day of January next following the additional judge's election.The judge elected pursuant to this section shall comply with the qualifications provided for in section 2101.02 of the Revised Code.The probate judge who is senior in point of service shall be the presiding judge and shall have the care and custody of the files, papers, books and records belonging to the probate court of Cuyahoga county and shall have all the other powers and duties of the judge as provided in section 2101.11 of the Revised Code.
