Effective: November 13, 2003 Latest Legislation: House Bill 86 - 125th General Assembly The judge of the court of common pleas of Erie county who is elected in 2008, and successors, is the successor to the judge of the probate division of that court whose term expires on February 8, 2009, shall be designated as a judge of the court of common pleas, general division, shall have all the powers relating to the general division of the court of common pleas of Erie county, shall be the clerk of the probate court, and shall exercise concurrent jurisdiction with the other judges of the general division of the court of common pleas of Erie county over matters that are within the jurisdiction of the probate division of that court under Chapter 2101., and other provisions, of the Revised Code and all matters that are within the jurisdiction of the general division of that court, as set forth in division (N)(2) of section 2301.03 of the Revised Code.
