Effective: January 13, 2012 Latest Legislation: Senate Bill 124 - 129th General Assembly Applications for the sale of real property by guardians of wards who live out of this state shall be made in the county in which the land is situated. If the real property is situated in two or more counties, the application shall be made in one of the counties in which a part of it is situated. Additional security that may be approved by the probate court of the county in which the application is made shall be required from the guardian if considered necessary.
