Effective: January 13, 2012 Latest Legislation: Senate Bill 124 - 129th General Assembly If a guardian's complaint in an action to obtain authority to sell real property seeks to have real property laid out in town lots, and the court finds it to the advantage of the ward, it shall authorize the survey and platting of the real property as provided by law. Upon subsequent return of the survey and plat, the court, if it approves it, shall authorize the guardian on behalf of the guardian's ward to sign, seal, and acknowledge the plat in that behalf for record.
