Effective: January 1, 2025 Latest Legislation: House Bill 33 - 135th General Assembly The juvenile judge may enter into an agreement with the department of children and youth pursuant to section 5101.11 of the Revised Code for the purpose of reimbursing the court for foster care maintenance costs, associated administrative and training costs, and prevention services costs under the 'Family First Prevention Services Act,' Public Law 115-123, incurred on behalf of a child who is any of the following: (A) Eligible for payments under Title IV-E of the 'Social Security Act,' 94 Stat. 501 (1980), 42 U.S.C.A. 670, and who is in the temporary or permanent custody of the court or subject to a disposition issued under division (A)(5) of section 2151.354 or division (A)(7)(a)(ii) or (A)(8) of section 2152.19 of the Revised Code; (B) Determined to be at serious risk of removal from the home and for whom the court has undertaken a plan of reasonable efforts to prevent such removal; (C) At imminent risk of removal from the home and is a sibling of a child in the temporary or permanent custody of the court.
