Effective: April 9, 2003 Latest Legislation: Senate Bill 120 - 124th General Assembly (A) The recovery of a judgment for an injury or loss to person or property or a wrongful death against one tortfeasor does not of itself discharge the other tortfeasors from liability for the injury, loss, or wrongful death unless the judgment is satisfied. The satisfaction of the judgment does not impair any right of contribution.(B) Valid answers to interrogatories by a jury or findings of fact by a court sitting without a jury in determining the percentage of liability of several defendants for an injury or loss to person or property or a wrongful death shall be binding as among those defendants in determining their right to contribution.
