Effective: October 27, 1981 Latest Legislation: Senate Bill 114 - 114th General Assembly The order of commitment mentioned in section 2317.25 of the Revised Code may be directed to the sheriff or a constable of the county where the witness resides, or is at the time, and shall be executed by committing him to the jail of such county, and delivering a copy of it to the jailer.
