Effective: April 6, 2017 Latest Legislation: House Bill 347 - 131st General Assembly If the judge at the hearing under section 2329.84 of the Revised Code finds that the right to the property or a part of it is in the claimant, and the plaintiff in execution within three days after the hearing tenders to the officer having the property in the officer's custody, a bond in double the amount of its value as assessed by the judge, with good and sufficient sureties, payable to the claimant, to the effect that they will pay all damages sustained by reason of the detention or sale of the property, the officer shall deliver such bond to the claimant, sell the property as if no hearing of the right to the property had taken place, and shall not be liable to the claimant for the property.
