Effective: August 29, 1985 Latest Legislation: Senate Bill 19 - 116th General Assembly As used in sections 2329.90 to 2329.94 of the Revised Code:(A) 'Foreign country' means a governmental unit other than the United States and other than a state, district, commonwealth, territory, or insular possession of the United States.(B) 'Foreign country judgment' means any judgment of a foreign country that grants or denies the recovery of a sum of money, other than the following types of judgments:(1) A judgment for taxes;(2) A judgment imposing a fine or other monetary penalty;(3) A judgment for support involving matrimonial or family matters.
