Effective: July 1, 1996 Latest Legislation: Senate Bill 2 - 121st General Assembly (A) No person shall:(1) Knowingly make or participate in an extortionate extension of credit;(2) Knowingly engage in criminal usury;(3) Possess any writing, paper, instrument, or article used to record criminally usurious transactions, knowing that the contents record a criminally usurious transaction.(B) Whoever violates division (A)(1) or (2) of this section is guilty of a felony of the fourth degree. Whoever violates division (A)(3) of this section is guilty of a misdemeanor of the first degree.
