Effective: May 23, 1978 Latest Legislation: House Bill 630 - 112th General Assembly The person in charge of a detention facility shall, on the grounds of the detention facility, have the same power as a peace officer, as defined in section 2935.01 of the Revised Code, to arrest a person who violates section 2921.36 of the Revised Code.
