Effective: October 1, 1953 Latest Legislation: House Bill 1 - 100th General Assembly The governor shall not request the extradition of a person under section 2963.28 of the Revised Code unless he is satisfied by sworn evidence that extradition is sought in good faith for the punishment of the crime named and not for the purpose of collecting a debt or pecuniary mulct or of bringing the alleged fugitive within this state to serve him with civil process, or with criminal process other than for the crime for which his extradition is sought.
