Effective: October 27, 1981 Latest Legislation: Senate Bill 114 - 114th General Assembly The board of county commissioners may receive bequests, donations, and gifts for the purpose of erecting, within its county, a monument in memory of those who died or were killed during any war or other military action in which the armed forces of the United States participated.When, in the opinion of the board, the bequests, donations, or gifts received by it are sufficient, the board may erect such monument.
