Effective: August 23, 1957 Latest Legislation: House Bill 29 - 102nd General Assembly The board of county commissioners, with the consent of a municipal corporation, may purchase water from said municipal corporation, and may construct and maintain aqueduct or water lines required for the transmission of such water to a county owned or operated property whenever, upon resolution of the board, it is determined necessary for the protection or general use of said county property.The board, with the authorization of said municipality, may permit such line to be tapped upon application of the property owner on the line of such facilities.The board shall establish and collect a reasonable tapping fee which shall include a portion of the original cost and maintenance of said line.
