Effective: September 5, 2001 Latest Legislation: House Bill 94 - 124th General Assembly Upon determining that a person or persons are eligible for benefits or services under any assistance program administered by the county department of job and family services, the county department may issue an identification card to the person or persons. The county department shall determine the card's material, design, and informational content, which may include a photograph, social security number, name, and signature, and shall prescribe the procedure by which it is issued.In issuing identification cards under this section, the county department shall comply with any state or federal laws governing the issuance of the cards. All expenses incurred in issuing the cards shall be paid from funds available to the county department for administrative expenses.
