Effective: July 6, 1982 Latest Legislation: Senate Bill 23 - 114th General Assembly The department of rehabilitation and correction shall provide a copy of the minimum standards for jails in Ohio to the board of county commissioners, the common pleas court, and the sheriff.The sheriff shall ensure that the prisoner rules of conduct are placed in a conspicuous location within each jail confinement area or are given to each prisoner in written form.
