Effective: March 22, 2001 Latest Legislation: Senate Bill 180 - 123rd General Assembly When a court or child support enforcement agency has issued one or more notices containing one or more of the requirements described in section 3121.03 of the Revised Code requiring withholding by a payor that is not an employer or requiring deduction by a financial institution, a court has issued one or more court orders described in division (C) or (D) of that section, or an agency has issued an administrative order under division (D) of that section and the agency administering the support order is informed that the obligor has commenced employment, that agency shall issue a notice requiring the withholding of an amount from the person's personal earnings for support, in accordance with section 3121.03 of the Revised Code. The notice is final and is enforceable by the court. Additionally, if the court or agency determines that payments due under the support order have not been made and that the amount that has not been paid is at least equal to the support owed for one month under the support order, the court shall proceed to collect on any cash bond and shall order it paid to the office of amount that has not been paid is at least equal to the support owed for one month under the support order, the court shall proceed to collect on any cash bond and shall order it paid to the office of child support in the department of job and family services.
