Effective: October 1, 2005 Latest Legislation: House Bill 66 - 126th General Assembly On receipt of any amount forwarded from a payor or financial institution, the office of child support shall distribute the amount to the obligee within two business days of its receipt of the amount forwarded. Unless otherwise prohibited from doing so by a law of this state or the United States, the office may distribute the amount by means of electronic disbursement, and the obligee shall accept payment by means of electronic disbursement. The director of job and family services may adopt, revise, or amend rules under Chapter 119. of the Revised Code to assist in the implementation of this section.
