Effective: September 29, 2007 Latest Legislation: House Bill 119 - 127th General Assembly (A) The director of job and family services shall adopt rules under Chapter 119. of the Revised Code to implement a program to collect arrearages owed under child support orders from insurance claims, settlements, awards, and payments based on information obtained pursuant to Title IV-D of the Social Security Act, 42 U.S.C. 652. (B) Any insurer and any director, agent, or employee authorized to act on behalf of an insurer, that releases information or makes a disclosure in accordance with rules adopted pursuant to this section shall be immune from liability in a civil action for harm resulting from the disclosure.(C) As used in this section, 'insurer' has the same meaning as in section 3901.32 of the Revised Code.
