Effective: April 9, 2001 Latest Legislation: Senate Bill 270 - 123rd General Assembly Any employee who becomes a member and establishes one year of contributing service credit shall be granted prior service credit unless the employee is otherwise required to establish additional contributing service credit under the provisions of this chapter. Provided, however, that any employee who became a contributing member prior to September 1, 1938, shall be granted prior service credit as of the date of establishing contributing membership.
