Effective: September 29, 2013 Latest Legislation: House Bill 59 - 130th General Assembly It is the policy adopted by the general assembly that the educational choice scholarship pilot program shall be construed as one of several educational options available for students enrolled in persistently low-performing school buildings or for students from low-income families. Students may be enrolled in the schools of the student's resident district, in a community school established under Chapter 3314. of the Revised Code, in the schools of another school district pursuant to an open enrollment policy adopted under section 3313.98 of the Revised Code, in a chartered nonpublic school with or without a scholarship under the educational choice scholarship pilot program, or in other schools as the law may provide.
