Effective: June 30, 2011 Latest Legislation: Senate Bill 171 - 129th General Assembly Any elected or appointed member of the board of education of a school district and the dependent children and spouse of the member may be covered, at the option of the member, under any health care plan authorized under section 9.90 of the Revised Code. The member shall pay all premiums for that coverage. The member's exercise of an option to be covered under this section shall be in writing, announced at a regular public meeting of the board of education, and recorded as a public record in the minutes of the board.
