Effective: October 1, 1953 Latest Legislation: House Bill 1 - 100th General Assembly Boards of education of city, exempted village, or local school districts may, upon nomination of the superintendent of schools, employ persons to supervise, organize, direct, and conduct social and recreational work in such school district. The board of education may employ competent persons to deliver lectures, or give instruction on any educational subject, and provide for the further education of adult persons in the community.
